Jeanette B. will be our guest crafter this month, sharing her talent for making greeting cards. She will provide the supplies we need, The cost for this will be $6 and everyone will go home with more than one card. ‘
The Senior Center is closed due to burst pipes and flood damage. Cindy will keep tabs on this and find an alternate location for crafts if it becomes necessary.
RSVP by January 10 to Cindy (text) or (e-mail) so Jeanette can assemble supply kits and Cindy can notify you of the location. She will need to know how many will be attending.

Our book for January is “Almost Just Friends” by Jill Shalbis and our Feb- ruary book will be “Personal Librarian” by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. Happy Reading in 2023!
Sunshine:
Sharon is currently at Mercy’s new Rehab Hospital in Chaffee Crossing after back surgery, she is expected to recover, but it will take some time. Cards and prayers welcome.
Someone suggested that we try to carpool with friends who can’t drive at night for evening activities. What a great idea! Let’s try to network and set up an informal dial-a-ride on text or FB.
Note: Our Welcome Neighbor Facebook group page has now been set to “private” for members. Our WN activities are for members only, although members may bring a guest to introduce her to our group. Membership is just $15 a year--a real bargain--and new members are always welcome.
