Welcome Neighbor has selected the Junior League of Fort Smith’s “Project Ready” as the beneficiary of its annual auction-luncheon, which was held at Hardscrabble Country Club on Thursday, December 5. Project READY (Real Education & Development for Youth) offers “Skills-for-Life. WE RAISED $3,000!!

Monday, March 9 Birthday Luncheon

Tuesday, March 17 Crafting Group
The group will meet at a meeting room in the Dallas Library at 10 a.m. Cindy has assembled small counted cross-stitch shamrock kits for all who would like one, or members can bring their own projects to work on. Please RSVP Cindy Francis at 816-695-3130 .
Thursday, March 19 Brunch
We will be meeting at Julie Mayser’s, 714 Skyview Drive, Greenwood. Call Ju- lie at 479-719-1299 and let her know what you’ll be bringing. The Board will meet at 10 a.m. and the brunch will begin at 11. Hannelore DeKunffy will host in April, and Evelyn Piechocki will host in May.
Wednesday, March 25 Tour of Kopper Kettle Candies
We will be visiting Kopper Kettle Candies, 6300 Alma Highway, Van Buren for an 11 a.m. tour. We can have lunch afterwards at the Smoke House, the restaurant next door, or at Cracker Barrel in Alma. We will probably set up a carpool departing from a place to be determined near I540 and Rogers. We appreciate Kari Erwin for volunteering to be our Membership Chair next year. We are still looking for someone who can step up to be president and give Dianna a well-deserved sab- batical.
Is anyone interested in going to a matinee of “Menopause the Musical” playing at a Little Rock dinner theater from May 25 through July 3? We may organize a trip if there is sufficient interest.
